George Johnston is a Vice President of Originations, Capital Markets, and Transactions for IGCP. Prior to joining IGCP, George was a Senior Associate on the Debt & Equity Transactions team at New York Life Real Estate Investors, where he underwrote and executed investments across the capital stack, including senior and bridge loans, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, joint venture equity, and direct acquisitions. He previously worked in asset management at New York Life Real Estate Investors and in capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield. George earned a B.A. in Business & Economics with a minor in Spanish from St. Lawrence University.
